This piece is for a Greek exhibition called mama Africa.
The setting is in the Serengeti dessert with a group of Masai walking on a trail.
I did some custom brushes for the background foliage, but the foreground foliage was a real problem.
The native plantlife there looks a lot like the photoshop's default brush.

A piece I did for a novel I'm writing.
I started doing it for my desktop and ended-up using it as a book cover. It is still work in progress.

I think I overdid it with colors.
The problem I'm facing is that I describe the clothes the characters wear in the book. Can I change the colors in the illustrations so that they better match a color theme???
I feal I'm betraying the characters if I do that:(

Any critique on the color theme (not)used would be helpful.

That was my entry for the 'Ten Pictures for Ithaka' competition.
The given theme was play/games.
Most of my colleagues from school focused on children playing, so I decided to go a different way. Instead of showing 'play', I played myself. This piece is (hopefully) playing with perspective and direction.
